St.-Thomaskirche, Mariannenplatz, 10997 Berlin

Expansion of the Thomaskirche to a multi-purpose and culture house as a supplement to the Künstlerhaus Bethanien. The technical equipment must be provided for parallel use of sub-areas, but should not be hidden or recognizable as pure technology. The acoustic screen over the central altar zone with a tube that opens up to regulate the warm and cold air, but also the separately controlled underfloor heating for the variable exhibition are part of the concept.
