Example project for many realized projects in Prenzlauer Berg in the 1990s. Here the modernization and the loft extension of a residential and commercial building in the former East Berlin was developed as a coherent concept, the vacant lot was deliberately designed as an entrance to the courtyard, the facade and the distinctive attic extension connect the individual structures.
