Lützowplatz Berlin

Five visionary buildings: Environment Center, Berlin Stock Exchange, Architecture Museum, exhibition landscape and the Berlin mirror on Lützowplatz. Lützowplatz is to become an international meeting place and a lively forum with space quality.

The design of the square follows a note line and can be experienced with different surface coverings, the positioned objects and accompanying buildings create an urban square. The Berlin mirror “Screen” is a large-format event wall that, like a variable slide, represents an original shop window for the city of Berlin, where cultural, economic and political announcements in an urban dimension are projected using modern means. Technical work can be experienced in the environmental center, while the architecture museum brings together permanent and temporary exhibitions and café uses under a lifting piano roof.
