Draft for the conversion of a listed Bewag building in Mariannenstrasse into a university building with student apartments as a Berlin branch of the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture, “The Cooper Union N.Y.”. The functional concept results in an architecture workshop as the center of life: the multifunctional entrance hall and drawing room form the ground floor, a library on the first floor and seminar rooms of different sizes on the second floor form the basis of the university, the large student shared apartment with additional single rooms on the top floor is the heart of the the students.
